A lump of Himalayan salt with a warm bulb inside it. The light comes through the stone rather than off it, so it glows amber and uneven instead of flat.

No two are the same shape. That is the appeal.

Why people like them

It is the softest light you can put in a room. Warm enough to leave on through the evening, dim enough to fall asleep beside.

Worth knowing

Salt draws moisture from the air, so in a humid room the surface can feel slightly damp. Wipe it with a dry cloth and keep it off anything that marks. We make no health claims about it, it is a lovely lamp.
